Paige Bellissimo Joins The Sport Horse Research Foundation as Chief Development Officer

WELLINGTON, FL (August 1, 2017) – The Sport Horse Research Foundation has appointed Paige Bellissimo as the organization’s new Chief Development Officer. ”Paige comes to SHRF with a great passion for our mission and an impressive track record of philanthropic leadership, strategic planning and fundraising,” said SHRF Chairman Dr. Sarah Puchalski. “With Paige’s extensive and successful background in strategic planning, we are poised to significantly advance our resources in ways that will further our mission and directly benefit our stakeholders. I am extremely happy to welcome Paige to our senior leadership team.”

As a key position on the SHRF leadership team, the Chief Development Officer will work closely with Puchalski and CEO Grace de la Gueronniere in strategic planning and implementation of a high-quality development programs. Additionally, as CDO, Paige will lead fundraising efforts in furtherance of SHRF’s vision, mission and goals.

Paige graduated from Boston College in 2014. She is the founder and Chair of the Great Charity Challenge, a relay-style jumping competition that has generated more than $10.7 million for 200-plus Palm Beach County charities. Currently, Paige serves as Director of Strategic Planning & Analysis at Tryon Resort and International Equestrian Center.

The Sport Horse Research Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization founded to achieve innovation through research for equine athletes used in Olympic disciplines. SHRF seeks to advance, direct and fund much needed scientific research and education that will enhance the health, athletic potential, and career longevity of these Olympic sport horses. “Paige’s experience and passion for sport horses and philanthropy make her an exceptional asset to SHRF.
